His name was Boris, a lovely lad
He lived with his sister, his mum and his dad
They were really close, this family of four
But for this family Boris is no more.
No ones knows what happened that day
With Boris and his friends as they went to play
His mother had told him to always take care
To look for dangers and to be aware.
But Boris forgot what he was told
As he chased his ball into the road
He did not see the approaching car
Too late for poor Boris he had gone too far.
The moral of this tale is simple
For all children, please be aware
Listen to what mum tells you
And always take great care.
